Tungsten Plate Tungsten Sheet

Pure tungsten plate is a metal sheet made of high-purity tungsten material, which has high density, high melting point, good conductivity and thermal conductivity, as well as excellent high-temperature creep resistance.

Pure tungsten plates are produced by powder metallurgy, which involves pressing tungsten powder into shape and then sinterring it to obtain sinterred tungsten slabs. By rolling the sinterred tungsten slab, different thicknesses of pure tungsten plates can be obtained through processes such as hot rolling, warm rolling, and cold rolling. Purity of tungsten sheets is generally no less than 99.95%, and the density is also extremely high, reaching 19.2g/cm ³, thus having good quality and volume ratio.

Characteristics and Applications of pure tungsten sheet:

High density: After rolling, pure tungsten plate has a density close to the theoretical density of tungsten, making it advantageous in many applications that require high-density materials.

High melting point: The melting point of tungsten is about 3422 ° C. Therefore, pure tungsten plates can remain stable in high temperature environments and not easily oxidized. Pure tungsten sheets are suitable for medium to long term high temperature environments, such as vacuum furnaces, electron beam melting, etc.

Good conductivity and thermal conductivity: Although tungsten’s conductivity is not as good as copper, it still has good conductivity and excellent thermal conductivity, making it suitable for applications that require high thermal conductivity, such as electronic components and semiconductor industries.

Excellent high-temperature creep resistance: Pure tungsten plate can maintain good strength and creep resistance at high temperatures, making it widely used in high-temperature equipment.

Due to these excellent properties, pure tungsten sheets are widely used in various fields, such as high-temperature furnace heating elements (such as tungsten boats, heat shields, and heating elements etc.), semiconductor plasma injection parts, tungsten sputtering targets for semiconductors, tungsten boats for evaporation, and base materials for medical X-ray tube targets.

Pure tungsten plates have shown broad application prospects in multiple fields due to their unique physical and chemical properties.
